Mission & Objectives
Trust and confidence are the foundation of my financial advisory practice. As such, my focus is directed at building and preserving client wealth, while staying committed to the fundamentals of investing. Working to understand the long-term goals, I help guide clients through the complexities of today’s financial markets.
Objectives
My investment advice is centered on the following four principals:
- Review and analyze your current financial situation.
- Draw on the intellectual strength and independent research of LPL Financial to create a unique investment solution for each client.
- Implement a customized strategy to address your financial needs.
- Review and evaluate your portfolio on a regular basis to ensure each client’s goals are addressed in current market conditions.
Philosophy
My investment philosophy is centered on the goals of my clients. Working with each client individually I strive to develop an investment strategy based on those goals considering assets, experience and risk tolerance.
Personal
My education and business background have enabled me to transition from the Finance Department at the New Zealand Embassy, through managing a team involved in the Commodities/Chemical businesses, to becoming a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley in 2005. This experience combined with the knowledge gained through the turbulent markets of 2008/2009 has given me a perspective not often found in a Financial Advisor.
A native of Wellington, New Zealand, I moved to Washington, DC in 1986 and became a United States citizen in 2006 after moving to Reading, Pennsylvania in 1994. I served on the board of the Wyomissing Area Education Foundation as well as the Wyomissing Public Library, while also currently active in the Reading Area Networking Group. My interests include the outdoors, golf, and spending time with my three daughters.
